Welcome to Love Muffins Bakery!

My name is Trish and my passion is eating! I love the whole experience of food...it fills my palate with such amazing tastes, smells, overtones and exciting new experiences that I just can't stop at one bite. It's simply blissful to me. And just because I have Celiac Disease hasn't stopped me one bit...and it shouldn't stop you either!

Gluten Free (always) and (sometimes) Vegan

All of the products in the bakery are always gluten-free. Most can be made dairy/sugar/egg-free too! Take a look, I know you will find something that makes your mouth water!

Trish also offers consulting and coaching services, providing individuals and families with knowledge, support, information on food and nutrition specific for people with digestive disorders. Her programs focus on how the digestive process works, which foods work better in the digestive process, and which foods harm it. Each program is individualized to meet the specific needs of the client. More information is available for her coaching programs and services on the Cooking Classes page.

I have recently started a blog sharing my own journey through this beautiful life with an intestinal/digestive disorder. As well all know, it's not always fun. I've started the blog in hopes that it will remind others that they are not alone, and that there really are things we can eat. Good things! If you're ever interested, www.todayieat.wordpress.com.

March Highlights in the Bakery!

Happy April! Wow, what a March it was! All of the holidays of March just about killed me! lol Between the insane pace at the bakery and all of my 'cheating' with the holiday foods I love, I'm happy to see the arrival of April! The tulips are up, the garden is growing, and I just love the way the sun comes into the house this time of year!

Lemons seem to be my focus this month. I just love the citrusy aspect and zing they bring to baked goods. Lemon curd, lemon cake, lemon cupcakes, lemon cookies! And what goes best with lemon? Almonds. Lemon Almond Cake, Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake, Lemon Bars...yes, I am in a lemony mood.

Even though the lemons are fueling my passion to bake, classes are still my main focus. Helping others to understand their own chemistry and how their digestive issues effect them is my goal. Once we understand our own personal chemistry and imbalances we can use food (and not medications) to balance our bodies, heal our issues, and live a happy and healthy life. Yes, it can be done with food! So, if you are interested in becoming the best that you can be through simple, integrative nutrition, check out the class lineup. Some of the classes are simply baking and cooking, others are educational. If you can't make it to a class in the schools, we can set up a private class or coaching/consulting session. Give me a call and we can set something up!

Happy April (and happy birthday to me!)...and Happy Eating!
